This subfile depicts a diverse range of cultural, architectural and archaeological sites from Oman and Yemen.
In Oman, scenes of coastal life are vividly portrayed, showcasing various types of boats, net-mending traditions, and fish-drying activities in Muscat Bay and Sur. Architectural highlights include Muscat's historic forts, reconstructed city walls, and the traditional housing styles of villages like Misfah and Fanja. Notable structures such as Bahla Fort and Jabrin Fort are emphasized for their historical significance, alongside landscapes of palm groves, wadi systems, and mountainous regions. Additional cultural elements depicted include Bahla pottery, camel races, and the Christian cemetery in Muscat.
Yemen is represented by images of the Marib Dam and ancient inscriptions, architectural elements of Sana'a, including gardens and intricate tower houses, Zabid's markets and festivals. It also features weddings and traditional dances that capture the cultural richness of that region.
