This subfiles showcases a variety of artworks, artifacts, and mosaics predominantly from archaeological sites in Cyprus, Italy, Turkey, and Tunisia documenting restoration techniques and archaeological excavations. There is a notable collection of slides that highlights the Paphos Archaeological Park in Cyprus taken in 1988, which includes the intricate mosaics from the House of Orpheus and House of Dionysus, emphasizing conservation efforts such as the detailed process of removal of mosaics from that site (e.g., dust removal, consolidation, application of glaze layer, undercutting, rolled mosaic, etc.) Other sites in which mosaic is highlighted include Ostia Antica, showing old restoration and decay of a mosaic; presence of weed killer, water damage, and cracked concrete base in Aquileia, Italy; detached mosaics on wall in Great Palace Mosaic Museum, Istanbul; rusting of reinforced concrete in Nora, Italy; before during and after restoration of opus tessellatum in Aphordisias, Turkey, amongst others. There are also images of Atacama mummy from Chile.

The collection also features a range of objects, including bronze artifacts, ceramics, and sculptures, all illustrating diverse conservation issues, such as corrosion, flaking surfaces, and deterioration due to environmental factors.
