The subfile contains images related to roofing and protection measures for safeguarding archaeological sites. Subjects include but are not limited to issues such as blocked gutters at Ostia and roof damage at Enna Castello in Italy, low-profile roofs at the Rome Palatine, protective coverings over mosaics, and roofs designed for sites like St. Nicholas in Myra, Turkey and Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The subfile also includes images showcasing conservation and maintenance techniques in various sites, including wall consolidation treatments and stabilization methods essential for preserving historical structures such as wall capping. There are several black & white images of Grand, France, which were taken from the Conservation and Management of Archaeological Sites journal. There are several slides showcasing the granaries from the historic village of Soajo, Peneda-Gerês in Portugal, and four images taken from published material of Casa Grande Ruins National Monument in Arizona, showing the site from 1890s to 1940s.
