The locations documented in this subfile highlight significant archaeological and cultural sites across South and Central America, emphasizing their historical importance and ongoing conservation efforts.

In Bolivia, the La Paz Archaeological Park showcases the Bennett Monolith, which was returned to Tiwanaku in 2002. Images of Tiwanaku feature the iconic Gate of the Sun, intricate details of the semi-subterranean temple, stelae, and a train arriving at the site. Photographs of Samaipata capture ancient water channels and collection pools, while Pilkokaina includes views of a partially collapsed Inca wall. Scenic landscapes of the Altiplano and Lukurmata further illustrate the region's natural beauty.

In Peru, contrasting visuals include urban scenes from Quito, with its historic center, street markets, and architectural highlights, juxtaposed against the archaeological site of Pucará de Rumicucho.

In Argentina, the ruins of San Ignacio Miní, part of the Jesuit Mission of the Guarani, are prominently featured. Additional image depict cultural scene from La Boca, including tango performances in Caminito, Buenos Aires.

In Belize, the ruins of Xunantunich, Caracol, and Cerros are presented through detailed shots of their pyramids, temples, and ongoing restoration efforts. Similarly, Guatemala's Tikal pyramids and temples, alongside Honduras's Copán ruins, including Las Sepulturas, are highlighted.

In Brazil, the colonial mining town of Ouro Preto is featured with views of its historic houses, streets, and the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, while Cuba is showcased with an image of Bacardi Building in Havana, an artisan making a souvenir hat and landscape views of Valle de Viñales.
