Content

This subfile showcases a diverse range of significant cultural and historical sites across Mexico and Peru. There is one image taken in Bogotá, Colombia, showing Nicholas Stanley-Price next to Juan Sarmiento.

In Mexico, some archaeological sites are highlighted such as Teotihuacan, Yaxchilan Ruin, and Caxatla featuring landscapes and ancient structures. There are several images of participants of the In Situ Archaeological Conservation Conference that took place in Mexico, 1986, organized by Getty Conservation Institute and Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia de Mexico (INAH). There are also images of pre-fabricated church in Santa Rosalia that was designed by Alexander Eiffel.

In Peru, the images showcase Cuzco, featuring the Coricancha Temple and sites like Tambomachay and Sacsayhuamán. The town of Pisaq is depicted, featuring traditional building techniques and street life. Other highlights include the Tomb of Sipán and the Tucume archaeological site.
