- Annex to a letter, dated 31/7/1957, from Luther Evans, UNESCO Director-General, addressed to ministries of UNESCO Member States to encourage them to become members of the Centre.
The letter contains the resolution of the UNESCO IX General Conference (Nov.-Dec. 1956) regarding the creation of a Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, and has two annexes: as well as the statutes of the Centre, the agreement between UNESCO and the Government of the Italian Republic governing the establishment and legal status of the Centre on Italian territory (pp. 6), signed on April 27 1957.
