The workshop was co-organized by the Directorate of Archaeology & Heritage, Ministry of Culture, Kingdom of Bahrain and ICCROM-ATHAR Regional Conservation Centre in Sharjah, UAE, in the framework of Cutural Heritage Strategies of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The workshop gained support of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage (ARC-WH), and took place at the Site of Qalat Al-Bahrain. Annex: Workshop activity Report, prepared by ICCROM-ATHAR Team.
