Mission to Manama, Bahrain: To respond to a proposed meeting by Mr. Mohamed Al Sharif of UNCP Bahrain to further discuss and finalize a draft proposal aimed at developing a National Strategy for Culture and Tourism in Bahrain (follow-up to the DG's meeting with the UNDP and the Ministry of Culture in Bahrain last December). Mission in Sharjah and Dubai: To take part in meetings for a new university programme on Heritage Studies at the University of Sharjah, and with the officials in Sharjah and the UAE Federal Government in order to prepare for new projects requested by both in 2011; by Zaki Aslan.
